Q. What sort of experience is required to try Sea Trek?
A. No previous diving experience - or even snorkeling
experience - is required. You need only basic swimming
skills and a desire to explore underwater.
Q. How long is the Sea Trek Adventure?
A. The entire Sea Trek Adventure is conducted in
approximately 30 minutes. Sea Trek was purposely developed
for those who would like to safely explore underwater
without the investment of precious vacation time in
specialized training. The Sea Trek program includes the
following:
- Pre-Trek Presentation
- Orientation - Approximately 5 minutes
- Equipment Outfitting -
Approximately 5 minutes
- Skills Demonstration -
Practice - Approximately 5 minutes
- Underwater Exploring -
Approximately 15 minutes
Q. How safe is Sea Trek?
A. Sea Trek was created by Sub Sea Systems. For 16 years,
Sub Sea Systems has set the standard for participant safety
in the aquatic attraction industry - and that commitment to
safety extends to every aspect of the Sea Trek experience.
Some noteworthy safety features of the Sea Trek Helmet
Diving System include:
- Three times the amount
of air needed for normal breathing is delivered to the
helmet.

- All tours are led by

Q. How do you breathe
and is it difficult?
A. Breathing in a Sea Trek diving helmet is no different
from what you do every day. Air simply circulates within the
helmet - the same way above and below the water. You simply
breathe naturally.
Q. What equipment do I wear?
A. A bathing suit is all you need. Booties will be provided
for your added comfort and protection. We ask that you
remove any jewelry and hair adornments. If necessary, a
weight belt will be provided to neutralize your buoyancy in
the water.
Q. What if I become uncomfortable below the surface?
A. Our primary goal is to see that you have a safe and

is always nearby and your air supply is constantly
monitored. So, if you wish to return to the surface, we are
ready help you do just that.

Q. What about the pressure build-up in my ears?
A. The Sea Trek helmet is designed so that you can
comfortably reach inside to equalize pressure changes at
various depths. In fact, you can safely wear your glasses or
