Schlitterbahn is now accepting
applications to hire more than 600 seasonal staff members to fill
summer jobs.
GALVESTON ISLAND, Texas
– Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark is currently accepting
employment applications for the 2009 season.
The coolness of summer comes to life at the regions newest
waterpark. More than 600 staff members are needed to fill open
positions in food and beverage, lifeguards, cashiers, retail and
more. Potential staff members should be at least 15 years old and
able to work throughout the summer months.
“We are so proud of the quality of the team we assemble every
season,” said Ron Sutula, Schlitterbahn’s general manager. “We
strive to offer our staff members the best work experience and a
competitive compensation plan including scholarship opportunities
and an end of the season bonus program.”

Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark summer season opens
Saturday, April 26 for weekend operation and is proud to offer
family amenities that include free parking and free inner tubes.
Guests are also welcome to bring a family picnic basket, excluding
alcohol and glass containers, into the parks.
During summer operations, the new Blastenhoff, Surfenburg and
Wasserfest areas incorporate state-of-the-art attractions including
two uphill water coasters, a wave pool, water slides, kids’
playgrounds, whitewater rapids, hot tubs, the Boogie Bahn surf ride
and the exclusive Transportainment® interconnected river system.
