Park Opens This Weekend!
New and improved waterpark opens indoor
area Saturday,
March 14 and joins other Galveston attractions and hotels in
welcoming spring break visitors

for Spring Break
Begin a new family spring break tradition this year by plunging into
the climate-controlled warmth of Schlitterbahn Galveston Island’s
thrilling heated attractions.
GALVESTON ISLAND, Texas – The World’s number-one rated indoor
waterpark opens this Saturday and daily for spring breakers March 13
through the 21. Guests can enjoy a dozen heated climate-controlled
attractions between the park hours of 10 am – 5 pm.
“Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Indoor Waterpark offers a fun and
safe spring break vacation spot for the entire family,” said Ron
Sutula, general manager of Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark.
“No longer do you have to worry about what the weather will be like
while you are on break, our balmy indoor weather and water are
always in the 80’s.”
The 70,000 square-foot indoor area offers more than a dozen heated
waterpark attractions including four tube slides, three speed
slides, three kids’ activity areas containing a variety of
children’s play elements and pint-sized slides, a secluded beach, a
hot tub, a man-made surfing wave and the Torrent® tidal wave river.
Spring break tickets are available online at the discounted rate of
$25.99 for adult all-day admission and $20.99 for children, ages 3 –
11, and seniors, 55 years or older. Taxes are not included in the
ticket price.
During summer operations beginning April 24, the entire park
incorporates more than 30 state-of-the-art attractions including two
uphill water coasters, a wave pool, water slides, kids’ playgrounds,
whitewater rapids, hot tubs, the Boogie Bahn surf ride and the
exclusive Transportainment® interconnected river system.

Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark is the third waterpark in
