Schlitterbahn® Waterpark Resort Opens for the 2007
Season Beginning April 28.
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Schlitterbahn
Waterpark Resort announces an array of family-friendly park
enhancements and amenities for the 2007 season.
NEW in 2007
Guests will notice the
additional attention to detail around the entire park including a
new “make over” for park entrances, upgraded restroom and changing
facilities and new theming to enhance the Schlitterbahn experience.
- Boogie Bahn – The world’s first
attraction of its kind gets a makeover this season including a
variety of improvements. Guests are now able to pick-up their
boogie board at the attraction.
- Cabanas – Located in the
Surfenburg area of the park, guests are invited to kick back and
relax in their own secluded cabana (additional fee experience).
- Lagoon Kid’s Area – New water
features delight even the youngest waterpark fans.
- Polywog Pond – This entire kids’
area gets a new exciting look.
- Wolf Pack – This attraction gets
a new look for the 2007 season, same great ride, new thrilling
look.

Five-Star Guest Amenities
Schlitterbahn’s vision to establish a family-friendly experience
began with the opening of the park in 1979. Long-standing
family-friendly amenities include free parking and free inner tubes.
Guests are also welcome to bring a family picnic basket, excluding
alcohol and glass containers, into the park.
Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort opens
Saturday, April 29 for weekend operation and daily beginning May 20.
The 65-acre park features more than 40 family attractions and 238
overnight rooms. Schlitterbahn Waterpark Resort is the most popular
summertime waterpark in the United States and has been rated
America’s number one waterpark by the Travel Channel. It has been
the top-attended seasonal waterpark in the United States since 1995,
according to Amusement Business rankings.
2007 park admission tickets are
$35.50 for general all-day admission and $28.99 for children ages, 3
– 11 and seniors 55 years or older. Afternoon admission tickets are
available for $24.99 for general admission and $20.49 for children
and seniors. Two-day tickets are $54.99 for general admission and
$43.99 for children and seniors. Taxes are not included in the
ticket prices.

The company has also
announced plans to develop a $750 million groundbreaking,
trend-setting retail entertainment destination comprised of multiple
shopping, dining, lodging and entertainment venues connected by a
Transportainment® River System. In the Vacation Village, manmade
rivers carry guests between lodging units and a large summertime
Water Resort, Marine Park and a covered Riverwalk with shops and
restaurants.
