GROUP SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Schlitterbahn Kansas City Waterpark is now accepting applications for a full time, year-round group sales representative. The group sales representative is primarily responsible for generating corporate and youth business, including, but not limited to, booking both catered and non-catered group events and establishing consignment accounts. Secondary emphasis is on planning and implementing special events and promotions, as well as servicing existing accounts. Position includes inside and outside sales duties and a willingness to perform any and all other tasks necessary that contribute to the success of the business.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Four-year college degree
• Sales experience preferred
• Waterpark or amusement industry experience preferred
• A demonstrated ability to meet assigned goals and deadlines
• A go-getter personality that is both assertive and friendly

Computer Skills
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Database management experience necessary

Physical & Record Requirements
• Must be able and willing to work both weekends and holidays when necessary
• Must be able to sit and operate a computer keyboard/mouse and telephone for eight hours a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
• Must be able to stand for four hours or more
• Must have a clean driving record for company auto insurance
• Must have personal vehicle to perform outside sales
• Must carry personal auto insurance and provide proof of current coverage
